Hello! I’m Dr Navin Chandra

Consultant Cardiologist

I have had a passion for cardiovascular medicine since I was at Medical School and have always been fascinated by cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.

Once I began training as a junior doctor, I discovered that I relished the challenge of managing unwell patients. This led me to an acute speciality. Now as a Consultant Cardiologist I am involved in of emergency care. I find this very rewarding knowing that I can provide patients with life-saving treatment when needed.

For me, the most important thing when you’re faced with anyone that has health concerns is to sit down, talk to them and really listen to what they have to say. Only once I truly understand a patient’s symptoms and their specific concerns, will I proceed with a clinical examination and a plan for appropriate investigations to meet their specific needs. From there, we can develop a tailored treatment plan together.

I specialize in General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
