What we find out as clinicians are the signs which are often related to the results of some tests we run to try and investigate and diagnose whether there is really underlying coronary artery disease or not. These vary from a simple ECG, which is an electrical recording of the heartbeat, to other more sophisticated tests in order to understand if the symptoms correlate with signs of cardiac disease or not.
